3 days later, Kanye still hasn't answered Jimmy Kimmel's question about Trump

Taking to Twitter, West said he "wasn't given a chance to answer the question".

Kanye West appeared to be rendered speechless when Jimmy Kimmel asked him whether Donald Trump cared about black people.

"On Jimmy Kimmel we had a great time having a dialogue".

West was notably silent on the show when he was asked why he thinks the president cares about black people. Record producer DJ Clarke Kent actually tweeted the news saying he had been in the studio with West when the artist said to "let that new "XTCY' joint go!" You guys are Jedi's. much love", West tweeted. I'm reading that I was stumped by a question. "I got four of them" (at press time, even the analysts at the lyric site Genius hadn't touched that one yet). "The interview showed strong personalities with different opinions having a civil conversation". According to the letter - obtained by TMZ - Kanye will have full artistic control.

West utilizes the moment to voice his disdain for "click bait" but fails to take the opportune chance to give his answer on Twitter. Didn't take long for Greg to craft an offer and fire it off to Ye ... first thanking him for mentioning Blacked. "And then told me every time I said I liked Trump that I couldn't say it out loud or my career would be over", West told Kimmel.

Kimmel had earlier asked West if he was anxious about his wife, Kim Kardashian West, being alone with the president in the Oval Office during a recent visit.

In the track Kanye addresses his two daughters - five-year-old North and six-month-old Chicago - as he expresses fear over them dating when they get older. It prompted the TMZ host Van Lathan to say he was "unbelievably hurt by the fact that you have morphed into something, to me, that's not real".
