Jabari Parker on the verge of offer sheet from Bulls

Jabari Parker on the verge of offer sheet from Bulls

The 23-year-old forward wants to sign with the Bulls, according to a report from NBC Sports Chicago. The potential for greatness is still possible, but with every passing day, a shred of optimism passes through the drain.

Parker was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 National Basketball Association draft, though has suffered two ACL tears to his left knee already in his career. Based on their actions in the past, Milwaukee would likely pass on the opportunity to extend their restricted free agent.

The Kings signed Bulls restricted free agent Zach LaVine to a four-year, $80 million offer sheet last week.

If the Chicago Bulls think that they have Jabari Parker virtually in the bag, then they could be in for a shock.

Parker missed most of last season after he suffered his second torn ACL in February 2017. My hopes and desires are with Parker bucking the trend. When healthy and in top form, Parker is a devastating offensive threat, capable of draining buckets from anywhere on the floor.

Parker, a native of Chicago, averaged 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for the Bucks this past season. Parker's inability to play the 3 limits the number of teams with a positional need for him.
