It was among HBO's 108 nominations.

The nominations for the 70th Primetime Emmys held a clear sign of how much the ground is shifting under the TV industry: streaming service Netflix captured the most nominations overall, 112, taking away a title that HBO held since 2001 and giving broadcast TV more reason to fear its future in awards and viewers.

Following HBO and Netflix is the most traditional network of them all, NBC, which has a total of 78 nominations including 21 just for this season of Saturday Night Live and four for the night Donald Glover hosted. And Bledel's "Gilmore" love interest Milo Ventimiglia is nominated for Best Drama Actor for "This is Us" for the second year in a row.

Top of the Lake: China Girl, shot in Sydney, also missed out in other categories, including best limited TV series, while lead actress Elisabeth Moss failed to earn a nomination.

Game of Thrones garnered a whopping 22 nominations - the most for any series this year.
