Red cat almost ruined an interview and became an Internet star

A Polish historian giving an interview on a Dutch news show was interrupted when his cat climbed his body and rubbed against his face.

Despite the fact that pet interfered with the conversation with the journalist, Targalski did not stop and trying to hold the tail arm, he continued the interview.

A tweet showing the footage, shared by the NTR interviewer Rudy Bouma, has racked up more than 340,000 views from cat lovers and bemused netizens alike.

It's a universally acknowledged truth that cats have no regard for personal space. "Jerzy Targlaski remained completely unruffled during our interview when this happened", Bouma wrote.

Dr Targalski, a Polish academic was speaking on a Dutch current affairs show on NTR when Lisio made a decision to hop on his shoulders. Amazingly, Targalski was unfazed by his cat, even moving Lisio's tail out of his way when it covered his eyes.

The cat, reportedly named Lisio, stole the limelight when he climbed Jerzy Targalski, sat on his shoulders and proceeded to sniff his ear. Follow INSIDER on Facebook.
