An argument ensued, and police said Ragin eventually struck Jones with a closed fist, which caused a laceration on Jones' face.

In video of the incident obtained by TMZ, Ragin seems to make contact first. Jones, 34, promptly removed his backpack and gave Ragin the business. Jones then approached Ragin and the two men began exchanging words.

Daugherty says that at some point during the fight, Ragin ended up hitting a woman who was with Jones, injuring her hand.

Jones then allegedly contronted the man which prompted a verbal altercation and a physical fight to break out, according to TMZ. TMZ Sports reports that cops responded shortly after the brawl and arrested Ragin on two counts of battery, claiming he was the instigator and Jones was simply defending himself. The NFL suspended Jones for one game for a violation of its personal conduct policy. In the end, the other guy falls onto his back before Jones is pulled away. He was injured in late 2017, and the Bengals declined the option in his contract for this upcoming season. The airline staffer, not the National Football League player, made first contact by attacking with a closed first, authorities claim.
