Armless man charged with stabbing tourist in Miami

Police said Crenshaw pulled out a pair of scissors from his suitcase and stabbed Coronado twice.

Jonathan Crenshaw, who paints pictures with his feet and weighs around 90lbs, was arrested in Miami Beach for allegedly stabbing a tourist from Chicago with a pair of scissors.

Crenshaw's most recent conviction was for the felony battery of a police officer in 2014, and came with a sentence of 180 days in jail.

A homeless man with no arms has been charged with stabbing a tourist in Florida.

Coronado, 22, said he approached the homeless street artist to ask for directions when Crenshaw attacked him in the arm and fled, according to WTVJ-Ch. Crenshaw then put the scissors in his waist band and took off, according to the report.

Krenshaw has claimed that he defended himself after Cesar Coronado, 22, punched him in the head, but has now been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Interestingly, Crenshaw is known for painting colourful artworks using his feet, said a local news report.

Coronado, who was visiting Florida from Chicago, suffered a wound to his left arm and officers found him lying on the ground bleeding, according to WPLG.

Police said there were no indications that Crenshaw was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.

Crenshaw has a court date on July 18; his bond has been set at $7,500.
