Five times Princess Charlotte stole the show

Louis' big brother and sister Prince George (four) and Princess Charlotte (three) were, as usual, the stars of the show at The Chapel Royal in St James's Palace this afternoon for the celebrations.

The fifth-in-line to the throne, who was born in April, was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

The date was special to the queen: July 9, 1947, was the day her engagement to Prince Philip, 97, was announced.

Per the official royal website, "Following the service, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will give a private tea at Clarence House". For Prince George, a handful of his fashion choices are throwbacks to the '80s, and not just any trend from said decade, but ones that his pa, Prince William, wore back in the day.

Prince George was christened George Alexander Louis in October 2013. Louis will wear the replica of the royal christening robe, first used in 2008.

Kensington Palace said William's father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla would be present along with younger brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan.

Kate Middleton and Prince William left Prince Louis at home to attend the 100th birthday of the Royal Air Force Tuesday morning.

Kate's parents and siblings were also there, including her sister Pippa Middleton, who is pregnant. For her daughter Charlotte's christening on July 5, 2015, Kate wore a handsome white coat by Alexander McQueen and a white fascinator by Jane Taylor - a similar look by the same designers.

Britain's Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge holds Britain's Prince Louis of Cambridge on their arrival for his christening service.

The occasion took place at the Chapel Royal, St James' Palace. Just after marrying Harry, Meghan surprised us not by continuing to step out in daring, sexier dresses (compared to other royals like uber conservative Kate Middleton, that is) and cool-girl designers like Altuzarra, but instead by taking a sleepier approach.
