Real Madrid make signing Chelsea FC star top priority

Having scored over 130 goals in his last four seasons with Tottenham Hotspur, Kane has already surpassed expectations with six goals in his maiden World Cup and will set a new England record with another against Croatia in Thursday's (AEST) semi-final.

Maurizio Sarri has identified Eden Hazard and Willian as the two untouchables of the Chelsea squad ahead of taking charge of the club.

The 27-year-old has been a sensational presence in the Premier League and is only beginning to hit his peak.

The report even points to Perez's past record of signing players off the back of World Cup performances - such as Mesut Ozil in 2010 and James Rodriguez in 2014.

Eden Hazard has once again invited the possibility of leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid despite the departure of idol Zinedine Zidane earlier this summer. Media reported that real Madrid is considering offering Juventus in 100 million euros for the player, but later it became known that Madrid are not ready to sell their leader for this amount, as previously assumed, and want to gain at least 130 million.

Hazard now wears the number 10 shirt for club and country, but Luka Modric occupies that jersey at the Bernabeu.

"He has every attribute to be the most fearsome centre-forward in world football, but how often do we see him getting pushed off the ball by smaller defenders and not looking willing to chase after balls when the tide is going against him".

Twenty years on, he's just two games away from matching Zidane's feat.

'Does Real make me dream less without Zidane?,' Hazard told beIN Sports.

The French striker will face off against Chelsea clubmate Hazard in Tuesday evening's tie at the Krestovsky Stadium.

"Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay".
