Walmart's impeach Trump clothing draws social media outrage

Walmart's facing backlash after "Impeach 45" and "Impeach Trump" apparel in all shapes and sizes - from infants to adults - surfaced on their website.

The marketplace is teeming with MAGA hats and coffee mugs, but the company has just pulled an anti-Trump shirt with the slogan "Impeach 45" from its website.

Wal-Mart is under fire after its website offered T-shirts from third-party sellers with "IMPEACH 45" emblazoned across the front in big capital letters - a call to bring down the 45th USA president, Donald Trump.

Ryan Fournier, chairman of the organization Students For Trump, brought the products to public attention with a tweet Tuesday evening.

Big mad conservative consumers started a #BoycottWalmart hashtag on Twitter, claiming that the store is in support of impeaching President Donald Trump, whose racist immigration policies has ignited nationwide protests and sent migrant babies to live in jail-like cells without their mommas.

Walmart has not commented on the merchandise.

Walmart's "Impeach 45" apparel causes stir on social media.

The company issued a similar statement when it came under fire previous year for selling a shirt with the words "Rope". Such sellers can sign up to advertise products on Walmart's website, and the retail giant gets a commission on each sale. "Tree. Journalist. SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED" was listed on its website through an outside company.
