Bronx Teen Slaying: Gang Leader Apologizes to Family

The New York Police Department released a surveillance video Friday of a 15-year-old boy being attacked and fatally stabbed outside a convenience store in Bronx, New York. Now he wants to explain why he did not intervene in the attack when the men dragged the teen out of the store. He was dragged outside the bodega by a group of men and was stabbed multiple times.

The grieving family of a Bronx teen murdered in a horrific case of mistaken identity last week still hasn't heard a peep from Mayor de Blasio or Police Commissioner James O'Neill, the mom told The Post on Sunday. "They were grown men and he was only 15", in a statement to the New York Post.

Another suspect was arrested in the Dominican Republic, a source said. After the suspects fled the scene, Guzman-Feliz stumbled a few feet away from St. Barnabas Hospital where he was found soaked in blood.

A gang leader may have claimed responsibility and apologized following the brutal slaying of Bronx teenager Lesandro Guzman-Feliz outside a bodega earlier this week. The murder weapon hasn't been recovered and the teen's murderers are still at large, police saijd.

Video footage of the incident went viral on social media with the hashtag #JusticeForJunior and garnered the attention of celebs like Cardi B. "What piss me off the most is that these BX cops be harassing the sh*t outta people then they see a boy bleeding to death and ask what happen?" she wrote. "How bout you call the ambulance like ya be calling for back up when ya see nikkas smoking in front of a building!"

The rapper donated to the family's GoFundMe for Lesandro's funeral expenses, which has raised more than $100,000 thus far.

The NYPD released images of six male suspects (video shows five of them) wanted for questioning, plus images of vehicles at the scene.

"He [the gang leader] said they kicked all of them out of the gang", Grullon said.
