Sarah Huckabee Sanders denies CBS News report she’s leaving the White House

Press secretary Sarah Sanders and principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah are both preparing to exit the White House, according to CBS News. She did not deny the report.

CBS News reported that Sanders told friends she plans on leaving at the end of the year.

Sanders replaced Sean Spicer, who quit last summer after President Donald tapped pal/financier Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director - a gig Spicer had been filling in on. If Shah does decide to leave, the article said it is unclear when that might be.

"Does @CBSNews know something I don't about my plans and my future?"

CBS News wrote that neither "Sanders nor Shah immediately responded to repeated requests for comment".

She became a senior adviser to Trump in 2016 after managing her fathers presidential bid, which attracted just one delegate.

Sanders has served as Trump's press secretary since July 2017. Numerous staffers have left in recent months, including Communications Director Hope Hicks, assistant press secretary Natalie Strom and director of White House message strategy Cliff Sims.
