E3 2018: The Last of Us Part II Gets Gameplay Reveal

This year Sony, who makes the Playstation, chose to open their conference with a trailer for the hotly anticipated game "The Last Of Us 2". She is on a path towards finding peace in her world-but it doesn't last. But now we have an intimate exchange between the game's main character and another woman, and it's played out in front of a massive, mainstream gaming audience.

Anyway! The official time and place for The Last of Us Part 2, at least for that nice scene of Ellie at the dance: five years after The Last of Us in Jackson County, Wyoming.

Obviously, this is a bit of a departure from the last game, which saw you playing as Joel for a large portion of the game before briefly allowing you to take over as Ellie.

Sony kicked off its E3 2018 presentation with a banjo performance by Gustavo Santoye, who performed one of The Last of Us' themes. "You're going to feel her physical, emotional, and mental state expressed through every facet of gameplay", Druckmann said. Ellie is then approached by a young man, Jessie, who commiserates with Ellie over his dislike of social gatherings before bringing up Dina's dancing, insinuating that the two characters have a history.
