Two people charged with murdering a woman they met on Tinder bought tools to dismember her while she was still alive, court documents claim. He told the Omaha World Herald Loofe had been a willing participant in a sex game that went wrong, and that she had something around her neck when she died. After learning about Loofe's last Tinder date, police executed a search warrant at the apartment, where they determined that somebody must have been washing the walls.

Prosecutors in the case include Saline County Attorney Tad Eickmann and special appointed prosecutors from the Nebraska Attorney General's Office, Michael Guinan and Corey O'Brien.

Gehring told KETV in November: "She texted me and told me about the date she had (and) how great it went and she was excited to go on another date with her again Wednesday night".

Lincoln Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation agents interviewed Trail several times after Loofe's body was found, in those they say Trail admitted to strangling Loofe with an extension cord.

Boswell and Trail were quickly considered suspects in the case, and were in arrested in Missouri in November on unrelated charges.

Loofe's mother reported her daughter missing on November 16.

Loofe met her date, a woman named Bailey Boswell, on Tinder - a popular dating app - and soon Boswell would be picking up Loofe at home, according to a criminal complaint.

Prosecutors claim Trail admitted to strangling Loofe with an extension cord.

"It wasn't supposed to go to the extreme it went, of course not", Trail told the World-Herald. "It wasn't meant that she was to die", he told police.

Aubrey Trail appears via video conference during his first court appearance, before Saline County Judge Linda Bauer at the Saline County Courthouse on June 12 in Wilber, Neb.

The couple have been in custody ever since at the Saline County jail - with both pleading guilty to fraud.

The arrest affidavit for Boswell says that she and Loofe had sent each other about 140 messages.
