Square Enix may not have the most to show off at the 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles this week, but it does have some of the most anticipated games in development.

It's out next year, but only for PlayStation 4 and PC. Square are promising "more to come" in August which suggests we'll have to keep guessing until then.

A number of Square Enix titles have already been revealed at some of the other showcases including Kingdom Hearts III and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider opened the show with some gameplay footage in this latest Lara Croft adventure going through some stealthy kills. New features coming in Just Cause 4 include a new vehicle handling system, improved AI, enhanced physics, and extreme weather systems.

Square Enix just announced an original game called The Quiet Man. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a new game in the Life is odd universe, and the Xbox version of Nier: Automata were also announced yesterday, stripping today's presentations of any real excitement.
