The most exciting games from Square Enix's E3 showcase

For Nintendo Switch a new trailer is shown for Octopath Traveller. As the presentation continued, it became clear that Square Enix would be sticking to those safe spaces by reshowing already seen trailer for games like Kingdom Hearts III and sharing another announcement about Just Cause 4 that was announced yesterday during Microsoft's presentation. Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV will be pairing up in Summer 2018 as the Rathalos appears in FFXIV. There was a clip of a Rathalos coming full force at Final Fantasy players, and Palicos coming to assist them.

The action adventure JRPG is back with a colorful new world. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below.

Unfortunately for Square Enix, the slew of trailers thrown in felt underwhelming since majority have already been seen before- many of them were shown at Microsoft's conference on Sunday.

It's out next year, but only for PlayStation 4 and PC. They also haven't helped themselves by really bigging up their return to gaming's biggest event, only to set up shop, sell their incomplete wares, and pack it all up again before people even really had enough of a chance to browse.

Scheduled for a 2019 release, Platinum Games is developing this title.

Square Enix just announced an original game called The Quiet Man.

This is one of the few new titles we saw, and it sure looks interesting. The trailer starts out in live-action before transitioning to an in-game action sequence where our hero fights a pair of gangsters. Then, it transformed into a video game scene, revealing that you're actually playing as a deaf character.
