Star Fox is coming to Ubisoft’s Starlink: Battle for Atlas

There is also a Starlink: Battle for Atlas Nintendo Switch Starter Edition that includes a Fox figurine and Arwing, as well as a figurine of an original character and weapon attachments.

Starlink, Ubisoft's toys-to-life game about flying around in cool space ships, is launching on October 26th worldwide, on all platforms, but Nintendo Switch players are getting a special surprise.

Following Ubisoft's previous collaboration with Nintendo on Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, they're uniting once again for exclusive content for a new open-world space dogfight title.

Lead a group of interstellar pilots as you build your own starship, explore the Atlas Star System, and battle the vile Grax and his Forgotten Legion. "We're thrilled to introduce Starlink: Battle for Atlas, the first new property created from the ground up at Ubisoft Toronto".

Star Fox is crossing over into an Ubisoft game. The new game will be available October 16 for Nintendo Switch, as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4, although the Star Fox crossover will be exclusively available for Nintendo Switch players.

The hope, of course, is that Nintendo eventually does more with the Star Fox franchise on Switch, but this might satiate some fans for the time being. Battle for Atlas uses a completely modular spaceship toy that attaches to your game controller.
