Few Storm Chances For Monday

Highs will only reach into the mid to lower 80s depending how much sunlight we can get across the Commonwealth. Some of these storms are likely to be strong to severe with high winds, very large hail, and even an isolated tornado as threats. Fortunately for those with outdoor activities, we should be mainly dry for a good portion of today. Our drier air will remain place, reducing but not eliminating rain chances. After flooding becomes a concern again this evening into tomorrow, all eyes turn toward the Tuesday forecast - will it be a nice day for a parade? We are under a Marginal Risk for severe weather Sunday.

Rain and storms are moving in just to the north and south of Hampton Roads.

A few showers are possible Friday into Friday evening, but certainly not a washout. Temperatures will only be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Pockets of heavy rain and some thunderstorms will be seen into the early afternoon hours primarily for communities along and south of I-96. Mostly cloudy skies with patchy fog late.

Rain chances will increase by midweek.
