Ubisoft's E3 2018 press conference is now underway, and the company wasted little time in getting to one of its most anticipated games: Beyond Good and Evil 2. The ship's cook is shown to be Peyj, from the original Beyond Good & Evil, albeit in a far younger form.

We also get to see the logo of the Space Monkey program, an aerial fight, a look at a group of enemies, and a group image with numerous characters.

During its E3 2018 press conference, Ubisoft has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Beyond Good and Evil 2. It all looks awesome. This is very much still a game in development, and that was evidenced by the next announcement Ubisoft made.

Update: hitRECord's Joseph Gordon-Levitt took to Twitter to address fan concerns if contributors would end up being paid for their work in the game. The noxious chef turns out to be none other than Pey'j, your porcine pal from Beyond Good and Evil. You can sign up to participate in the Space Monkey Program at the official Beyond Good and Evil 2 website.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is an action-adventure role-playing title that you can experience alone or in co-op. They also noted that it is a prequel to the first game, though quite how Jade fits into all this - and why she appears to be an antagonist - is as yet unclear.

"We want our fans and people all over the world to really be a part of creating the game", said Guillame Brunier, senior producer at Ubisoft Montpelier.
