Amazon expands Whole Foods Market discounts for Prime members

Amazon Prime members in Hawaii on Wednesday are scheduled to be eligible for special discounts at Whole Foods Market stores - such as $9-per-pound savings on sustainably caught yellowfin tuna steaks, Amazon and Whole Foods announced today.

Prime members shopping at a Whole Foods store can download the store's mobile app and sign in with their Amazon account. In the time-honored retail fashion, that really just means extra discounts and savings for Prime members.

As previously reported by FOX Business, Amazon rolled out a discount program at Whole Foods for Prime members in May.

Amazon offers delivery service from Whole Foods stores in 10 cities (not including Charlotte and Raleigh) and will continue expanding throughout 2018, the company said.

To get the deals, you go to a Whole Foods location in the designated states (or any Whole Foods 365 location), and look for the yellow discount stickers.

"Based on the positive customer feedback and successes we've seen over the past month, we're accelerating our timeline to expand these savings to all of our USA stores", A.C. Gallo, the president and chief operating officer at Whole Foods Market said. There's also an Amazon Rewards Visa card that gets members an additional 5% cash back when shopping at Whole Foods.
