Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Announced From FromSoftware

As part of the lead up to Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles, Microsoft today helped developer From Software reveal its next game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. You can check out the full trailer embedded above. Set in feudal Japan, it seems to be following the template set by other FromSoft games. Sekiro will mark a new era for From Software in more ways than one. A third-person game with RPG elements, Shadows Die Twice is a single-player only game. With Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice many FromSoftware team members, including myself, are thrilled to be exploring themes of Sengoku Japan and ninja for the first time. "Kill Ingeniously", reads FromSoftware's description of the new title. What we do know is that the game will arrive in 2019.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest game by From Software. In a 4chan thread that's now been deleted, a self-named leaker said that they had information on FromSoftware's game that listed details such as the use of a grappling hook. Sekiro is being developed for Xbox One devices, including the Xbox One X, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, and Windows PC via Steam.
