"OnePlus 6's glass design is centred around creating a "sense of value" and "premium hand-feel" and the glass back contains five printed layers of "Nanotech Coating", a first in the smartphone industry", Pete Lau, had earlier said in a blog post. After months of waiting and a host of rumours, speculations and leaks, OnePlus's first flagship of 2018 is all set for its official unveiling in London later today. Apart from this, Amazon is also giving some launch offers with the OnePlus 6. The event is scheduled to begin at 5.00 pm BST which would be 9.30 pm IST in India.

OnePlus will be livestreaming the launch event through various channels.

If you are the sort that are against notch display, you should know that you can still have a great experience with the OnePlus 6 because OnePlus has pledged to make it possible to disable the notch entirely.

The OnePlus 6 is expected to house a 6.28-inch bezel-less display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, which is taller than regular flagships. Another change in look will be a glass back on the OnePlus 6 which is also a first for the company. But, it can be noted that the new phone houses Snapdragon 845 octa-core with latest Android Oreo software, both of which are said to be optimized to work efficiently with less consumption of power even while playing graphics-heavy games. There is no word on third variant (8GB RAM + 256GB storage), but going by the aforementioned price pattern, it is most likely to be priced Rs 42,999.

It is expected to come with dual-camera 16MP+20MP snappers with an F1.7 aperture and a fingerprint sensor below it. The camera is expected to come with a super slow motion video function after the company teased it on its website. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 3300mAh battery with support for Dash Charge technology. The pricing for the 256GB variant has not been leaked, but we can expect it to be priced in the Rs. 45,000 price bracket. Across the globe pop-ups will be held in New York, London, Paris, Milan and Beijing.

On the other side, when OnePlus 6 will arrive in India on 17 May 2018 then the launch event has been scheduled to be organized at 3 PM IST.

GSMArena, citing tipster Ishan Agarwal, reports that the official OnePlus 6 will support hard cover accessories in Sandstone Black, Karbon, Ebony Wood, Nylon Black, Protective Red and the Black Flip Cover as well.

Presently, the ecommerce major is selling e-gift card of Rs 1,000 for OnePlus 6.
