Fortnite gets new burst assault rifles in tomorrow's patch

While it has been weeks since this addition, Epic Games ensures players never go too long without new content, and so since then we have seen the destruction of Dusty Depot, and even the addition of anti-gravity consumables. So, as a result, "some quests may not function until the build releases". The developer announced the news via their official Twitter page.

But in their latest Fortnite server update on Tuesday the Fortnite team said: "v4.2 is releasing tomorrow, May 16".

Originally, the update was scheduled to go live at the same time on May 15th, but an apparent issue was discovered which delayed the release of the patch by a whole day.

Another day, another Fortnite update, and this one means the serves will be down for a period, just like they normally are.

Until the error is fixed, Fortnite's Infinity Gauntlet mode will remain active, and the downtime will not begin. "We'll update you once we have a more accurate time frame".

Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite, isn't commenting.

In other Fortnite news, the way the Battle Royale genre was taken over the world was highlighted by a recent stat.

Pundits have predicted a new Burst Assault rifle will be thrown into the mix with the update for PS4, Xbox One and mobile, after being bombarded with hints as they now played Battle Royale.

Research has revealed that in April Twitch megastar Tyler "Ninja" Blevins had the biggest social interactions of all athletes.
