Battlefield V to be revealed next week

Trevor Noah, a well-known actor, comedian, tv host, and gamer has confirmed on his official Twitter Profile that he will host the reveal of the new Battlefield game. Now we know, it will be Battlefield V and an official reveal is right around the corner, coming on May 23rd. Battlefield V will head to "another frontline", dropping the previous game's WW1 setting. The livestream can also be viewed through both Twitch and Mixer if you find those preferable. Most game developers don't bother with the platform just yet. However, some have speculated that it will be another period from the past similar to Battlefield 1.

Expect to see a lot more about Battlefield 2018 at E3 2018 next month.

On the official site of Battlefield, DICE mentions that in this transmission they will give an idea of what your "epic journey" with Battlefield V will be like.

Noah doesn't actually say that it's Battlefield 5, referring to the event only as a "Battlefield live reveal".

DICE team members will be at the reveal event to talk about the game. "Every battle is unique, and every mode brings its own challenges - from the way you interact with the environment around you, to compelling single-player stories, to the next level of large-scale multiplayer that spans across multiple maps and modes". Electronic Arts and DICE will showcase its latest entry to the Battlefield franchise on May 23.

Beyond that, the teases are quite vague.
