The staggering success brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus have garnered by being an online-only brand has changed the Indian smartphone landscape, with Xiaomi gobbling up 31% of the market share, while OnePlus dominates the premium tier. He said this combined with a good battery backup and ultra-affordable pricing would make the smartphone a formidable rival to Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1.

The Realme 1 comes with a boatload of features and yet prices start at Rs 8,990. It is worth mentioning that Realme 1 has no fingerprint reader at all and it comes with Face Unlock only.

The 6-inch FHD+ Full Screen of Realme 1 gives young people a more intuitive full screen experience. At the heart, the smartphone runs MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The device will also be available in a variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at Rs. 10,990. Internal storage of all the varaints can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. Talking about the optics, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and on the front is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

As the device is being built with youth in the mind, the device front camera is expected to be the USP of the device. It is backed by a 3,410mAh battery.

Connectivity: The Realme 1 supports dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 801ac, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio and 3.5mm headphone jack to name a few. All of this rings particularly true given that the highest rated Realme 1 with 6 GB RAM/ 128 GB ROM is priced INR 13,990. Apart from that, the phone also highlights a tall 18:9 display up front.

The Oppo Realme 1 was unveiled today and is available in two variants: a 3GB +32GB model and a 6GB +128GB variant.

Currently, only the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will go on sale in India in the first sale, which will take place on May 25th at 12:00 pm on Amazon India.
