Stoger moving on as Dortmund look for new coach

Borussia Dortmund head coach Peter Stoger announced he would leave the club after helping them scrape Champions League qualification in the final match of the season. With Germany promised only six European tournament spots overall, three teams will be on the outside looking in.

Borussia Dortmund are on the lookout for a new manager as Peter Bosz confirms that he will not stay on for another campaign.

Dortmund was made to sweat until the last seconds to secure the final Champions League spot after losing 3-1 at Hoffenheim, which grabbed third place ahead of them on goal difference.

Nice's Lucien Favre, who has previously had spells with Hertha Berlin and Borussia Monchengladbach, is widely expected to step in at Signal Iduna Park.
