RAGE 2 Gameplay Goes Big and Loud, Release Date Set for 2019

Not every single aspect was a success - although the in-game trading card game was way better than it had any right to be - but it was a high-profile triple-A game that had a team behind that were not afraid to take chances.

No additional information is available for now, but Rage 2 is expected to be available on a number of platforms when it launches, including the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out more in the first RAGE 2 gameplay trailer below.

The leaks are over and now Bethesda has started revealing all things RAGE 2. That was just another tease though, for today when we get our first look at actual gameplay thanks to the official RAGE 2 gameplay trailer, which you can check out below.

It looks like we don't have very long until we find out what Rage 2 gameplay will be like!

Bethesda made no mention of release yet, but a recent leak revealed that the game could debut at E3 2018, alongside other titles.

"In RAGE 2, you'll dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order", reads the description. Also, this announcement indicates Rage 2 could be properly open-world, which the first game struggled with. Conversely, Mad Max featured incredibly fun auto combat, and some of the best vehicle customisation since Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

The original Rage video game hit the scene back in 2011, developed by id Software, but it didn't enjoy a great reception.

Discussing the leaks on Twitter, on tweet asked "Are there story spoilers on your site too?", and another suggested "They probably have the entire design document in the fine print" to which Bethesda replied "It's definitely possible at this point".

Considering how many great ideas it brought to the table, Rage deserved to get another chance in the spotlight - it was just a few tweaks away from being a huge success. Now you'll have to rage for justice and freedom. Unfortunately, it doesn't showcase any gameplay, but that's just around the corner.
