Jay Ajayi Sued for Trashing LA Mansion; Accused of Pushing Home Owner

However, the owner says that Ajayi refused to pay. TMZ says Ajayi accrued $25,000 in penalty fees and was confronted by the property's owner two weeks after the Super Bowl.

National Football League star Jay Ajayi shoved the owner of a fancy L.A. mansion who charged the Eagles running back $25k in damages for trashing the place. this according to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

According to the lawsuit, the owner claims Ajayi threw three parties at the mansion despite the fact that they were specifically told parties were not allowed.

TMZ says the suit alleges that Ajayi rented the house through Airbnb.

According to the home owner, he charged Ajayi $5,000 for each party he held and tacked on fees for damages to the house, which allegedly included scratched floors, a broken table and the "no smoking" rule being violated.

Per the report, Ajayi racked up $25,000 in penalty fees and when the mansion's owner confronted Ajayi on February 18, the owner claims that Ajayi "pushed [him] on [his] chest in a menacing and threatening manner" and proceeded to call local security to remove the Eagles running back from the property.

This is also according to TMZ, which updated its original report with word from an Ajayi spokesperson, who said the "lawsuit is bogus" and denied that Ajayi ever damaged any property.

Ajayi's attitude was a major reason the Dolphins traded him to the Eagles midway through his third National Football League season. In the Eagles' 41-33 Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots, Ajayi ran for 57 yards on nine carries.
