Google has started rolling out 'voice remote' support for YouTube TV

The YouTube TV app has been reportedly added with a new feature that allows you to instruct your choice of shows.

This doesn't apply to YouTube TV on devices such as Roku or Android TV, but it will control content playing on your mobile device as well as casting content (you can even cast with a voice command).

Note: Some users have reported seeing this feature on the iOS YouTube TV app for quite some time.

Once done, you'll simply look for the red Voice Remote button throughout the app to perform a voice search or command. Since it is a server side update, the users will be informed when the voice remote will be available on their Android device.

Last week Google announced that at their I/O conference that they will focus on the digital well-being of users and the latest YouTube feature is helping them to do just that.

The command list is pretty extensive too, with controls that not only let you search for content, but ones that let pause, fast forward, rewind, and adjust volume.
