Fox Upfronts: 'Lethal Weapon' Key Art Leaves out Clayne Crawford

He alleged Crawford "hit another actor in the mouth with a bottle of green tea and busted his mouth open".

Wayans then shared a photograph of a sticker he mentioned might be seen across the studio lot the place the present was filmed which learn, "Clayne Crawford Is An Emotional Terrorist".

Wayans went on to claim that Crawford went around set making women cry and just generally making work miserable for the rest of the cast and crew.

The day before announcing its fall schedule and presenting its lineup to advertisers, Fox announces Lethal Weapon has been renewed for a third season - with Seann William Scott joining the series to replace Crawford, whose contract is officially not renewed. Crawford portrayed Martin Riggs, a loose-cannon cop who teams with a more conservative partner, Roger Murtaugh (Wayans). Wayans wrote in the caption that the incident happened while filming an episode directed by Crawford.

Wayans, who is returning, took to social media to weigh in on the ongoing issues surrounding Crawford and his shock departure from the show. I stopped watching Warner Bros TV's revisionist Batman origin story after its first season as I wasn't a fan of its convoluted storytelling, but by all accounts the show has grown from strength to strength, especially on the back of Cameron Monaghan's critically acclaimed performance as a proto-Joker villain named Jerome.

At issue were two incidents: one in which Crawford allegedly dressed down co-workers over what he considered unsafe working conditions.

Within the video, one thing explodes behind Wayans and the actor is seen ducking along with his face twisted in ache as he clutches his head. In the accompanying post, Wayans wrote, "Not me!"

Damon Wayans claims his former Deadly Weapon costar Clayne Crawford was accountable for an onset harm he sustained. "To my cast and crew - CONGRATULATIONS on season 3!"

In April, Deadline reported that Crawford had a "history of bad behavior on the show, and that he has been disciplined several times over complaints of emotional abuse and creating a hostile environment". My heart is full.

These are obviously some incredibly major accusations against Clayne, who issued an apology after his firing and admitted to being reprimanded on set a few times. "Good Luck [next] season!" That night, Lethal Weapon's second season ends with Crawford's character bleeding out over his dead wife's grave after being shot, further putting his series into question. "I'd like to address the TWITTER outrage with this video and image to follow", Wayans tweeted out, sharing a video of himself on the set of their show being hit by shrapnel from a special effects explosion. Crawford subsequently met with human resources, apologized for his actions, completed the appropriate therapy sessions required of him, then shared a "sizable portion" of his earnings with a party involved in the incident.

"I absolutely love, respect, and care for my crew and cast, and would never intentionally jeopardize so many jobs", Crawford wrote in part in his apology.
