Overwatch's second birthday party will begin on May 22 and will bring back skins and brawls from previous events, a leak from the Brazilian Overwatch Twitter account has revealed. Other past brawls will be returning to the Arcade and will be rotated daily all throughout the Anniversary event. Blizzard confirmed that a new Competitive Mode will be coming to Deathmatch that includes placement matches, skill rating tiers, and leaderboards. You can also play the game free during the period May 25-29. Additionally, Doomfist, Moira, and Brigitte are getting new dance emotes. It'll be released on 22nd May, and probably cost an arm and a leg. It includes 15 additional skins, including Legendary ones and the Origins skins that were released with the game back in 2016.

Blizzard is feeling pretty generous this time around, as every player who logs in to try the Anniversary event's festivities out will get one bonus Legendary Anniversary Loot Box, which guarantees one Legendary item.

As the above trailer indicated, past skins and cosmetic items will now be available in Anniversary. So if you haven't played Overwatch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC yet, that'll be your chance. Players were not happy with the pricing but Jeff Kaplan, Game Director of Overwatch has mentioned that they are listening closely to players, so there might be a change this time around.

Special loot boxes will also be making a appearance with Legendary Anniversary Loot Boxes guaranteeing players some rare content.
