IPL: Kiwi Corey Anderson plundered by Dhoni as Super Kings win

De Villiers smashed 68 off 30 balls, hitting eight sixes and two fours during his onslaught, while de Kock made 53 off 37 deliveries with the help of four sixes and a boundary. This is probably for the first time that a huge number of fans from Chennai are arriving in the city as Bengaluru is the nearest destination for them to watch their home team CSK renew its intense rivalry after two years when they last had a face-off with RCB.

However, the visitors bounced right back into the game as Dwayne Bravo removed Quinton de Kock for 53. However, with Dhoni and Rayudu's match-winning knocks, CSK chased down the target with two balls to spare. Colin de Grandhomme did not get a chance to bowl despite the main bowlers leaking runs.

From 87-1 at the halfway stage to a gradual collapse despite some strong comeback, RCB will hope to defend this total when CSK come out to bat in the run chase.

WICKET! Quinton de Kock has been dismissed by Dwayne Bravo as the latter finally gives CSK the breakthrough. The RCB think-tank, in a bid to maintain pressure on the rivals, promoted Corey Anderson but the Kiwi was all at sea in the one over he gingerly negotiated from Bravo before he fell - caught by Harbhajan at slip off Tahir, one ball after Tahir got the prized wicket of de Villiers. From their win in the opener against Mumbai Indians to their overall display of strength against Sunrisers Hyderabad, CSK have been going from match-to-match a little bit stronger.

Despite losing wickets at the other end, Rayudu played his shots, keeping his team in the game for large parts and after Dhoni walked to the batting crease, the captain looked determined to see them through, running well and hitting the big shots as and when required.

All-rounder Chris Woakes has been outstanding so far, picking up 8 wickets, while pacer Umesh Yadav also been equally good with eight wickets.

MS Dhoni did the job of a master finisher once again as Chennai Super Kings beat Royal Challengers Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets in a thrilling Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Wednesday to move to the top of the table.

The first time these two teams met in IPL was on 28 April 2008 where CSK won by 13 runs. Kohli is also always the higher owned player, so he always does more damage if you ignore him and he performs. The live match RCB vs CSK live streaming is also available on JioTV and Hotstar.

Either Virat Kohli or De Villiers has had to deliver and this time, it was the South African who starred with his knock of 68.

If the second innings was highlighted by Dhoni and Rayudu's knocks, the first was dominated by AB de Villiers (68), who has looked in fantastic form this season.
