Mariah Carey reveals bipolar disorder

The lawyer for Mariah Carey's ex-manager claims the songstress is a "train wreck" who is "addicted to alcohol, prescription pills, and marijuana" and owes her former manager millions of dollars.

Mariah Carey is reportedly being sued by one of her closest friends and confidantes.

Stella Stolper has filed legal documents which reveal that a lawsuit will be filed against Mariah, claiming the singer is in violation of the US Civil Rights Act, a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, and breach of contract.

Now, according to TMZ, Bulochnikov is claiming Carey still owes her a large amount of money.

Mariah hired Stella, a former stand-up comedian, in 2013 as part of a huge team shake-up.

You may recall that Mariah left Stolper to sign with JAY-Z's Roc Nation management and music publishing company in November. She noted that she is taking medication for the condition, which has helped her. "She's a TV producer", adding that she had manipulative tendencies. Stopler's also claiming that Mariah Carey also has issues with substances.

Carey revealed last week that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2001.

Stolper, a former comedian, became Carey's manager in 2013 and served in that role until past year when they parted ways when Carey signed with Roc Nation. "It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn't do that anymore".

Carey, who is divorced from actor Nick Cannon and shares 6-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with him, said she chose to go public now because she's "just in a really good place right now, where I'm comfortable discussing my struggles with bipolar II disorder".
