Joel Embiid 'Sick And Tired Of Being Babied'

The #3 seed Sixers and #6 seed Heat squared off for game two Monday at the Wells Fargo Center. Its lone series win after dropping the first two games: the 2006 NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Miami Heat aggressively went after Simmons and his 76ers teammates on Monday in Philadelphia to take game two of the National Basketball Association playoff series 113-103. I play the game for these moments. Most importantly, Whiteside was minus-16, with much of that coming in Philadelphia's game-changing run to start the third quarter that put the Sixers ahead for good. Ersan Ilyasova, starting at center in place of Joel Embiid, had success on the offensive glass in the opening minutes and Marco Belinelli came off the bench to rack up nine points in the first quarter.

Philadelphia meanwhile were left reflecting on their first loss since early March, jolting their momentum as the series heads to Miami for game three on Thursday.

But the hosts were then obliterated in the second period as the Heat went on a scoring spree, with Wade amassing 21 first half points.

The team defeated the Miami Heat at home by a score of 130-103 on Saturday night, giving the Sixers a 1-0 series lead.

Philadelphia rallied relentlessly and it looked ominous for Miami as the Sixers closed the gap to two points at 98-96. Goran Dragic and James Johnson are capable shooters as well.

So, even though Brown appeared to be unaware of a profane Instagram post published by Embiid after the game suggesting he was "tired of being babied", Brown knows the spirit of the message is more indicative of the 24-year-old's desire to be back on the hardwood than any bubbling discontent with the organization. "I just want the green light to play". And when he's not able to do that, he gets frustrated.
