'Dark Souls: Remastered' on Nintendo Switch Delayed to 'Later This Summer'

A flawless game to take on your summer holidays now!

The remastered port will include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, as well as improved framerate and resolution from the original "Dark Souls" game. Unfortunately, it seems that you'll have to wait for both the Solaire of Astora amiibo as well, which is a crime against Dark Souls fans everywhere.

Fortunately, this delay only affects those on the Nintendo Switch.

They had been set to release alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases on May 25th, but the release date for the Nintendo Switch version has been pushed back. Bandai Namco promises that the delay is in order to ensure that the developers can really polish the switch release of the legendary game.

Bandai Namco today has let down the news gently that Dark Souls: Remastered for the Nintendo Switch has been delayed. The company is known for creating and publishing numerous industry's top video game franchises, including PAC-MAN™, TEKKEN™, SOULCALIBUR™, DARK SOULS™, NARUTO™, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN™, Dragon Ball, GALAGA™, RIDGE RACER™ and ACE COMBAT™.

There will be more time to prepare for Dark Souls.
