2 people dead after plane crash in Parmer County

DPS officials say an aircraft failed to return after taking off from the owner's home.

According to the FAA a Beechcraft Bonanza was traveling from Elyria, Ohio to Deland Florida when it crashed about five miles west of Blissfied.

Brown confirmed the pilot was killed in the crash.

The crash happened before 11:30 a.m. around the Medina and Bexar County line near Potranco Road and County Road 381.

Lagos was one of three Las Vegas residents who died in Monday night's crash on a golf course shortly after takeoff from Scottsdale Airport.

The remains of the victim will be transferred to the Office of the Medical Examiner for autopsy, examination and positive identification.

The NTSB will work to determine the cause of the crash.

She also said the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have been alerted about the incident.
