Released code name Samsung Galaxy Note 9

On a separate report, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is said to have a slightly larger 6.4-inch screen display, compared to the Galaxy Note 8 that has a 6.1-inch display. The price of the phone is not known, although recently the company Samsung is often criticized for the overly high cost of production. For individuals who incline toward a Galaxy S9-sized leader, S9+ has a huge 6.2-inch show. For example, the Galaxy Note 8 was codenamed "Baikal" and this was used to highlight the phone's very big edge-to-edge display.

The Galaxy Note 9 will hog all the limelight when it arrives later this year. There is no fingerprint reader on the rear panel, suggesting that Samsung would rely entirely on the Intelligent Scan feature or offer an in-display fingerprint sensor. According to KGI Securities, the trump card of the Note 9 will however be the in display, fingerprint scanner on the Note 9. Students can exchange this phone with high-end smartphones from Samsung's Galaxy S, Note and A series.

The Note 9 is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and the Bixby button. The motherboard will carry the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SOC along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

Expect plenty more Note 9 rumours and leaks to be revealed in the coming weeks but it looks set to be one to watch out for.

Samsung is thought to have been working on this technology for a while and it seems it could get its first outing on the Note 9. Samsung is expected to include the super slo-mo and variable aperture features in Note 9 that it introduced with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.

If the speculation is correct, the Note 9 could become one of the best devices ever for battery life. According to Twitter tipster Ice Universe, the handset would pack a 4,000mAh or 3,850mAh battery. The device would run Samsung's custom UI on top of Android Oreo, though it should receive the Android P update soon after launch.
