Stevens has been to the playoffs as a head coach before, while this will be Bucks' interim head coach Joe Prunty's first time in the deep end as the main man. But Irving is now out for the postseason after knee surgery, joining Superstar 2 Gordon Hayward, who has been out since his gruesome ankle injury on opening night back on October 17. While the Celtics have hit a wall as of late, many teams had to survive without their star players.

They are also a group that shouldn't be underestimated even without Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward.

The Bucks went into the half ahead 47-44 after outscoring the Celtics 30-15 in the quarter. The Bucks lack the scoring depth to beat good teams consistently, and you really can't ask for better play from Antetokounmpo and Middleton. Irving was leading the Celtics, averaging 24.4 ppg, which was 2.4 points above his career average.

Injury report: The Celtics' Gordon Hayward, Kyrie Irving and Daniel Theis are out for the season, and Marcus Smart may be cleared by April. 27. In addition, they'll need their defense - which has been bad at times this season - to step up and stifle the shorthanded Celtics.

The absence of Irving will most likely cause struggles for the Celtics at the point guard position.

The ability to move past mistakes is important, but so is the presence of a veteran like Horford to take control when mental mistakes strike. The only two All-Star's involved, these two will play huge roles at both ends of the floor for their respective sides.

Rozier finished with 21 points, three rebounds and four assists for the Celtics. During that stretch, six different Celtics registered points.

Jayson Tatum will be having a trial by fire this postseason. "Both come in at 6'8", and both have long 6'11" wingspans. Jaylen Brown finished with 20 points. But those 28 shots were dwarfed by the 61 shots he took (of which he made more than two-thirds) inside of 10 feet. Hayward was injured in the first five minutes of the opening game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and missed the entire season due to an ankle injury and surgery. Despite this, he is still a unsafe offensive player with the ability to score big, and his nine assists opposed to Tatum earlier in April highlighted his ability to create for others too.

But Boston closed the day on a 9-2 run over the final 2:10 of the extra period for a 113-107 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Greek Freak has scored at least 28 points in every game against Boston in 2017/18 to average 33.5 points on 53.9% shooting. Tatum is now averaging a whopping 13.9 points in his rookie season.

Despite this statistical dominance, his opponent in these games has been useful himself. To go with this he has put up 7.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks. They have a top-five player in the league which their opponent does not, and Boston will be without their best player from throughout the season. That tied the game at 99-99 and sent it to overtime.

Boston, however, will still be too good, though it won't be on the back of any one individual player.

One of the major benefits of building an National Basketball Association franchise around a Big Three of stars is that it allows a team to have some insurance when coping with injuries.
