New Zealand beats Kenya 45-0 at the 2018 Commonwealth Games

The Kiwis downed England 26-5 on Sunday at Robina Stadium on the Gold Coast, lacking intensity at times but compensating with moments of brilliance and speed.

The West Sussex star is one win away from a medal - and two away from gold - after England swept aside Wales with a 45-0 victory on the Gold Coast today.

New Zealand even had an opportunity to put the game completely beyond doubt when Fiji's Sevuloni Mocenecagi was given a yellow card for an early tackle on Sam Dickson.

They conceded just four tries across the entire tournament.

Kelly Brazier and Gayle Broughton showed fantastic footwork to step through the Kenyan defence for their tries after Woodman gave New Zealand their fast start.

John Porch regathered his own second half kick to set up Sam Myers for Australia's third try and a 14-point led.

The Australians, who had won the first Olympic gold medal in Rio in 2016 and dominated this season's women's sevens series, had been heavy favourites heading into the final between the trans-Tasman rivals.

Nearly immediately after the kickoff, South Africa regained possession and Cecil Afrikia sped away to score his first try.

In the opening rugby match of the Games, Canada scored within the first minute when South Africa fumbled the ball from the kick-off.
