Shenmue 1 & 2 are officially coming to the PC in 2018

After many rumors and speculation SEGA has announced that both Shenmue I & II is coming this year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC with modern and classic options.

The first Shenmue originally launched in 1999 and, at the time of its release, had the distinction of being the most expensive video game ever created.

Shenmue I & II comes with original features like the captivating jujitsu combat, investigative gameplay, role-playing elements, and odd mini-games. It notes the PC version will allow people to choose Japanese voice acting as an option, will have scalable screen resolutions, will have classic and modern control schemes and will have a new UI.

London, England - April 13, 2018 - SEGA® Europe proud to announce that the pioneering epic saga Shenmue™ I & II is to be re-released for a new generation. The game features a vast open-world, complete with day-and-night cycles, weather changes, and dynamic NPCs.

These revolutionary masterpieces deliver a gripping story of retribution as Ryo Hazuki sets out to avenge his father's death and attempts to unravel the secrets behind a mysterious artefact known as the Dragon Mirror. Nonetheless, fans of the series, and those that have never had the chance to play them before, have been calling for a re-release of the games for some time.
