$533 million Mega Millions lottery victor will get the check Friday

The New Jersey victor of Mega Millions' $533 million jackpot from March 31 was revealed at state lottery headquarters in Trenton on Friday as 47-year-old Richard Wahl.

It sold the day before the March 31 drawing at a Lukoil gas station mini-mart here.

"For us we believe God has a's not only life-changing money for me, we want it to be life-changing money for others". "We're going to try to do some good things with that".

Richard Wahl was introduced Friday during a news conference at lottery headquarters. Wahl waited two weeks before claiming his windfall.

He wouldn't disclose what city in MI, but he's a native to the mitten who was just moved to New Jersey in July for his work.

An analysis by The Record and found that the biggest Mega Millions winners usual take about 12 days to come forward.

"This guy has to watch himself", Mahler said of New Jersey's big victor.

New Jersey Lottery held a news conference to announce the victor. "Everybody looks for a handout".

The odds of winning a mega millions jackpot are 1 in 303 million.
