Robert Kraft Reportedly 'Driving Force' in Keeping Josh McDaniels with Patriots

Since Meek Mill received 2-4 years in jail for a parole violation last November, many have stood up to support him and to demand justice.

Breer noted "the Patriots were starting to look like the kind of year-to-year operation that Kraft loathed to run" with 65-year-old head coach Bill Belichick and 40-year-old quarterback Tom Brady, so keeping McDaniels was a testament to building future stability.

"I know how I'd feel if I was in the situation he is".

Kenney "believes [Mill] would better serve the community outside of prison, and that his case makes clear and urgent the desperate need to continue working with our partners to reform the criminal justice system", she said in an email.

Sources at the prison tell us Kenney was spotted leaving the facility Wednesday morning with 76ers owner Michael Rubin, who's visited several times before... including Tuesday when he brought Patriots owner Robert Kraft to visit the incarcerated rapper.

Meek Mill is now serving 2-4 years in prison for violating probation after being charged in 2008 for a gun and drugs charge. The musician was released from prison in 2009 after doing time for charges of drug possession and carrying a firearm without a license. The Philadelphia District Attorney's office filed a motion yesterday, telling the court it isn't opposed to his release on bail, and his attorneys have reportedly filed their own motions to get him out of prison. That decision rests with the judge overseeing his case. I say don't show me no pity because this is my life, ' Meek said. He is one of the most up people I know. I see it firsthand. This is just sad.
