Monster Hunter World Devil May Cry Event Quest Rewards Dante's Gear

Monster Hunter: World's next crossover will be with another Capcom franchise: Devil May Cry. The character they've chosen is Dante!

Monster Hunter: World is about to get stylish with the addition of Devil May Cry's Dante, the Son of Sparda, who will lend his classic coat and two of his favorite sword to hunters in the new collaboration.

In Monster Hunter, this will fall into the Charge Blade category, which usually features a "hefty shield", that when combined with its matching sword, can turn into a rather large axe. Players will likely have to craft it from items acquired by completing event quests, similar to how other unlockable skins have been made available in the game. In the form of a Charge Blade weapon, players will be able to use Force Edge that can transform into a massive Alastor instead of the typical axe. A new event quest will be available soon that rewards items for creating Devil May Cry content in the co-op action RPG.

Capcom announced another collaboration between its popular Monster Hunter World and one of its properties.

There's also a trailer which shows you that we'll be able to hunt monsters in Dante's gear. The costume itself is just Dante's original outfit, red coat and all, but not as a full armor set like the previous Aloy and Ryu events.

Hideki Kamiya, the creator of Devil May Cry, has gone on Twitter and expressed a wish to remake the game. You can pick up the Devil May Cry HD Collection for $29.99 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One starting today.
