Apple Announces Superstar Animated Comedy

Written by Bouchard with Josh Gad and Nora Smith, the show is about a family of caretakers who save the famous park as well as the world.

Apple bought its first animated series with an order for two 13-episode seasons of "Central Park" from Loren Bouchard, creator of 'Bob's Burgers'.

Already greenlit for two seasons, the series will follow a family of caretakers that work and live in the famous NY landmark. Gad and Bouchard will write the script, as well as serving as executive producers.

The show's impressive voice cast also includes Leslie Odom Jr. Kevin Larsen is attached to produce.

Apple has already committed to a two-season pickup for Central Park, not unlike what Netflix recently did when they managed to snag the Riverdale spinoff Sabrina from Warner Bros. "Central Park" will join an untitled thriller from M. Night Shyamalan, a comedy series starring Kristen Wiig, Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories anthology, and more.

Apple had added yet another show to its growing list of to be produced original content.
