Manchester United 4/7 to beat Sevilla in Tuesdays Champions League clash

The 2017/18 Champions League last-16 second leg between Barcelona and Chelsea will be played at the Camp Nou, Barcelona, and kicks off at 20:45 CET on Wednesday 14 March, 2018.

Saturday's win over Jurgen Klopp's men came after a superb double from Marcus Rashford and it consolidated United's grip on second place in the Premier League table.

The French global took part in some of the training session today and I think he'll be passed fit to start tomorrow.

"When you're in the last 16, it looks really far, but in the last eight, you start smelling [the] semifinals".

Even if Paul Pogba was fit I don't think he would get in the United team, as he has suffered from the confusion that Alexis Sanchez's arrival has brought to the team.

Mourinho led Porto to an unlikely triumph in the 2003-04 competition and did likewise with Inter six years later.

That said, here is a list of problems, Manchester United need to fix in order to make this team genuine title contenders in 2018/19. "When a team gets into the last eight, the feeling is you are among the best but anything can happen".

"I'd back Rashford for another double but I don't know whether he's going to play".

"We're going to try and be courageous in an iconic stadium and against a great opponent, we're excited as we can only be by the prospect of achieving something important, which is being in the quarter-finals after 60 years", Castro said before leaving to England.

"Liverpool is Liverpool, it is a big match", Mourinho said. "But Sevilla and Brighton are "live or die" games so the next two are much more important than this one".

0 - Sevilla have never won a Champions League game in England (D1 L3), with that one draw coming at Liverpool in this season's group stages.

52 - More than half of the teams who lose the first leg of a Champions League knockout game away from home 2-1 end up progressing (52 per cent - 12/23).

"I read something, some quote from the worst manager in the history of the Premier League, Frank de Boer saying it's not good for Rashford to have a coach like me", Mourinho said. In a hectic season of all-round football, it would be essential to rest the big names in the first team.

Tonight's tie is evenly poised after United's 0-0 draw in Sevilla three weeks ago, a creditable result but one that leaves Mourinho's side vulnerable to away goals. I don't feel we have any advantage in this moment.

Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, and Ander Herrera are all out, while Anthony Martial trained but remains a doubt.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic took part in training before the Sevilla game, although it remains to be seen whether the veteran Swedish striker is in any condition for his first competitive action since Boxing Day.
