Varun Dhawan to give a special viewing of The World of October

With Varun Dhawan playing a man seeking answers from a lost memory, the film's trailer possesses a visual serenity that is markedly different from any other in Dhawan's filmography. "It's not a movie about hugs, kisses and dates..." and the trailer does prove him right. Varun's profession plays a very integral part to his character and environment in the film, which shapes up the events that follow. The Shoojit Sircar directorial celebrates love, nature and the autumn season.

The trailer is held together by Varun Dhawan's understated performance, and seems to capture the actor in a very different role than his usual commercial films. Tragedy strikes Banita, and she is hospitalised.

Alongside the poster, Varun wrote, "Sometimes the greatest way to say something is to say nothing at all but baby I can't help myself". Before the trailer launch the actor will be seen live in the theatre on the big screen while travelling toward the venue of the launch. The actor's mother accompanied him to the trailer launch.

The makers of Varun Dhawan-starrer October have released the much-awaited trailer of the movie.

Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, October is directed by Shoojit Sircar.

October is definitely not a conventional love story. However in an unfortunate twist of fate, Banita's character Shiuli ends up being comatose at a hospital, and Varun Dhawan, for some mysterious reason, forms a bond with her that changes his life forever.
