PSG chiefs to visit Neymar in Brazil amid Real Madrid links

According to Telefoot, Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Antero Henrique will head to Brazil this week to meet up with the 26-year-old.

After that news that representativs of Real Madrid had met in Paris with Neymar's father and lawyers, Al Khelaifi knew that a figure of 400 million euros was being quoted as sufficient to take the player from the French to the Spanish capital.

Neymar is reportedly set for talks over his future with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who has flown to Brazil where the star is recovering from surgery on a fractured metatarsal.

"He has not told me anything; but, if it's up to me, I would open the door right now", he said.

Despite Real being favourites to land the Brazilian, Rakitic has said that he would welcome the player back with open arms - although he has heard nothing from Neymar himself on that possibility.

European glory is the club's ultimate aim and a main reason for their huge investment in Neymar, but they were knocked out at the last-16 stage by Real Madrid and look to be some way off being able to challenge for the European Cup. The report claims a source close to Sheikh Al Thani, the owner of PSG and Emir of Qatar, explained that he sees keeping Neymar as a matter of personal pride and not about money.
