Kareena Kapoor: I don't think nepotism exists

"I think it is a myth that Kapoor bahus (daughters-in-law) do not work. If nepotism exists, they would have been a big star by now", she said. "It beats in this gorgeous looking boy that I sleep next to every night and everything is in his two tiny little hands", Kareena said.

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan's son Taimur has become an Internet sensation, and the actor on Saturday said she does not like the fact that her little one is being watched so closely.

"Children are the most important thing in the world". If nepotism exists everyone would have been superstars and Number 1.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor Khan said in an official statement, "It's an honour to return to India Today Conclave and I am very excited as I will be sharing the stage with one of my inspirations, my sister Karisma Kapoor".

At the India Today Conclave 2018, Kareena opened up about the media attention that Taimur gets.

Karisma said being a star child was a hard task as one had a legacy to live up to and a pressure to exceed expectations.

Their mother Babita and actor Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu's career took a back seat from films after they entered the Kapoor family.

The sisters were then asked if nepotism exists in Bollywood.

"It is about talent, we maybe children or grandchildren of somebody but once you are on the silver screen you are that part. It is their choice not to work, Geeta aunty and Jennifer chose to work".

During the discussion, when they were countered "But Kangana Ranaut said otherwise", Karisma quipped, "People can have their opinion and we should respect each opinion". Kareena and Shahid broke up soon after the film released, leaving all their fans heartbroken.

"It took Kapoor girls to break the norms", she said. Looking as breathtaking as ever, the Kapoor sisters stole the limelight away from the other relevant guest, who especially flew down from the U.S. to attend the event. "He opened the door and told us to fly", she added.
