Super Smash Bros. Series Creator Masahiro Sakurai Working on Switch Game

Nintendo released a video on Thursday that teased the return of "Super Smash Bros.", the highly popular video game where gamers can take control of several different Nintendo characters and battle it out in an arcade-style format. "Super Smash Bros." is coming back.

After being so successful last year, Nintendo had to make sure that the Nintendo Switch maintain that this year but giving it an impressive list of upcoming game.

The teaser trailer really doesn't give much away other than showing the Inklings from the Splatoon series and the shadowy figures of legendary characters, Mario and Link. Soon, Super Smash Brothers's working title will be a thing of the past.

Until then, speculation will be rampant and theories will be thriving in the Smash community. Among the more interesting suggestions are Twintelle from ARMS and Crash from Crash Bandicoot, who will be making his way to the Nintendo Switch with Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

We do not know if this new game is the new version of Super Smash Bros or is it a brand new game. "Please wait until we can release more information, or until release day!"

Nintendo will also continue to support its handheld console, the 3DS, with an unexpected port of Luigi's Mansion - a game originally launched with the GameCube in 2001 - and an expanded version of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
