Snapchat will soon let you tag anyone in your Stories posts

This would allow other users who look at your Story to tap that username and go find out who you tagged.

Snapchat confirmed to TechCrunch that the feature, which was discovered by prominent Snapchatter Matt Rappaport, is being tested but has not been rolled out yet to all users.

Not all users seem to have access to the feature just now, but if it proves popular (which it probably will) then it will likely appear for everyone eventually. When someone views their Snap, they'll see a "More" option and after they swipe up, and they will see tiles showing people's profile info and an Add button. According to reports, the person being tagged won't get any sort of notification or indication that they have been tagged in a photo or video.

Influencers including DJ Snake, Tchami, and even Kylie Jenner have made the switch from Snapchat exclusively to Instagram Stories.

SNAPCHAT is testing a hot new feature that Instagram users will already be familiar with.

It comes after Snapchat completely overhauled the app's design last November, by separating the app between "social" and "media" in an effort to make the app more personalized and easy to use.
