EPL: Arsenal, Tottenham Up For North London Derby

Spurs have gone 12 home matches without defeat in the Premier League, and have won eight of their past 10 league games at Wembley.

Arsene Wenger, considering Arsenal's performance against Everton will ideally keep the same side for the Tottenham game. Fifth versus sixth does not have the ring of FA Cup semi-finalists, but the significance for Spurs is not to fall too far behind fourth-placed Chelsea, while Arsenal face the prospect of dropping seven points behind fifth should they lose.

Steve Bower: "The added spice to the North London derby mix is the Champions League chase, and the first Wembley meeting in nearly 25 years since a Tony Adams goal won an FA Cup semi-final for Arsenal".

"It's hard (to be like Wenger)", the 45-year-old said. They were scheduled to play Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal in consecutive games but the Lilywhites have now taken four points from the first two and will look to continue their run, against their fierce rivals Arsenal.

But Sheringham tipped the home side to triumph at Wembley. "It's key on Saturday to win the game, to be in the race for the top four".

Marseille, the only French club to win the Champions League back in 1993, is enjoying its best season in years.

However, the second half soon returned to normal programming as Tottenham kept their foot on the gas to pile the on the pressure which had Arsenal hanging on by a thread, with Dele Alli, Kieran Trippier and Erik Lamela all missing golden opportunities to double Spurs' lead.

With fatigue creeping in, now may well be the flawless time to face the champions-elect as they also have to prepare for a double-header against Basel in the Champions League, a trip to Wigan Athletic in the last 16 of the FA Cup, as well as the small matter of an EFL Cup final date with Arsenal in the space of a month.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored four goals in four previous appearances against Tottenham Hotspur in all competitions; once in the Champions League (2 games) and three goals in the Europa League (2 games).

"We lost our last two away games, at Bournemouth where we were 1-0 up, at Swansea where we were 1-0 up". With sackings, approaching derbies and top-of-the-table clashes on offer, teams will be desperate for some valuable points this weekend.

Spurs have been boosted by the return of Toby Alderweireld. Zaha picked up the injury in last weekend's 1-1 draw against Newcastle United. You obviously have to play well and train well - but I never looked back.
